We’ll remove 0bstacles to foreign investment –El-Rufai- by Ismael Omipidan



Kaduna State gov­ernor, Malam Na­sir el-Rufai, has assured foreign investors that his admin­istration would remove all bottlenecks hindering foreign investment in the state.
He made this known yes­terday in Kaduna, when he played host to the Nige­rian- American Chamber of Commerce.
And to demonstrate his willingness and commit­ment to his promise, he named his deputy ,Arch. Barnabas Bala,to head a joint investors’ committee with the Nigerian-Ameri­can Chamber of Commerce.
The aim, Saturday Sun gathered, was to harmon­ise the requirements of the American investment drives in the state.
“ Unemployment has brought insurgency and oth­er crimes in some parts of the country. We will create jobs for our young people. We have a big challenge to attack the high rate of un­employment. We are taking employment of our youths seriously, “el-Rufai, said.
Earlier,President, Ni­gerian – American Cham­ber of Commerce,Kaduna State chapter,Sheriff Ba­logun, said they have confidence that el-Rufai would transform Kaduna State to greater level, con­sidering his antecedents while as Federal Capital Territory,FCT,minister.
