With many cautiously anticipating the dawn of the Year 2015 following the United States of America’s apocalyptic prediction of Nigeria’s break-up, there appears to be a huge prospect of relief on the horizon as the word of God coming to Nigeria, according to the predictions by the two men of God seems to put a lie to the prediction as the seers separately predicted that Nigeria will not disintegrate. “No, the country will not disintegrate because specifically the United States had earlier said that in 2015 there would be no Nigeria and ironically, some Nigerian politicians have been working towards it. By the special grace of God Nigeria will not disintegrate,” Primate Olabayo predicted in an interview with a national daily.
The prediction that the nation will not disintegrate this year may however turn out to be a temporary relief after all as Primate Ayodele in his own account foretold that although Nigeria may not break up this year, the year could however mark the beginning of the imminent break up of the country. The break up, he said could be precipitated by problem of ethnicity which he predicted will mess up the 2015 election. “Nigeria will not break up in 2015, but the year will mark the beginning of the imminent break up for Nigeria. Ethnicity will mess up the 2015 election. There is going to be political revolution in Nigeria that will shake the country to its foundation, the political revolution will be the platform for the break-up of the country,” Primate Ayodele foretold.
Echoing almost a similar view on this year’s election, Primate Olabayo said that the election might not hold after all as the period preceding the exercise is predicted to witness political assassinations while the South West geo-political zone could witness serious political violence. “To start with God has revealed to me that there may not be elections next year because in 2015, we are going to witness one of the worst political assassinations in Nigeria. God further informed me that the South West geo-political zone should be very careful so that the region would not be thrown into another era of wild, wild west because I saw political assassinations everywhere,” the founder of Evangelical Church of Yahweh foretold adding that, “if there will be elections next year in Nigeria, the seat of the president is not vacant.”
By the seat of the president not being vacant, the man of God said “if at all there is going to be presidential election, it will be inconclusive just like we had during the time of the late MKO Abiola who flew the flag of the Social Democratic Party under the military administration of General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida.” Primate Olabayo predicted. His prediction gives fillips to Primate Ayodele prophecy on possibility of bloodbath as well as his prediction on the possibility that these may not be landslide victory for either of the two leading political parties, the All Progressives Congress and the ruling Peoples Democratic Party.
At state level, the 2015 election may turn out to a mixed bag of surprises for the two leading political parties as the two men of God have almost similar predictions for some states. Prophesying on elections in some states, Primate Olabayo foretold that APC would reclaim Ekiti State but may find it difficult to win Lagos State while Ogun, Oyo and Rivers States will be retained by the party. The man of God predicated his prophecy about Lagos on the failure of the party to field Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon as its candidates in the state.
Primate Ayodele expressed a similar view on Lagos State when he said, “if APC in Lagos picks Ambode, they may lose the state during the coming election,” he declared, adding that the election in Ogun would be marred by violence.
